Results from the Test of Basic Concepts Knowledge (TBCK)
This is the 5th year that the TBCK has been administered to the project learners (Grade 1 to Grade 3)
The data, however, was collected only from three of the four schools as one of the schools had withdrawn from the project.
The project data gathered this year was thus not comparable with the data gathered since the baseline data was collected in 2014. We have compared only three of the schools still participating in the project with themselves.
There have been substantial gains achieved in all three grades since the start of the project:

In Grade 1 there have been gains of 60%

In Grade 2 there have been gains of 56%

In Grade 3 there have been gains of 36%
