Results from the Test of Basic Concepts Knowledge
Grade 1 - 3 learners have been tested since the project started in 2014 when the baseline data was gathered.
There has been a dramatic improvement in the test results since the baseline data was collected.
While only 8% of all project learners were regarded as school ready at the start of the project, 45% of the learners were found to be school ready in 2018.
There have been substantial gains achieved in all three grades since the start of the project:

In Grade 1 there have been gains of 56%
