Training & Mentoring Sessions for Number
The fifth set of training sessions was sucessfully run for this new cohort of Foundation Phase teachers in Metro North.
The training sessions were immediately followed up by class visits at each of the project schools.
Date: 10th + 11th September 2024
Time: 14:00 - 16:00
Venue: Alpha Primary School, Durbanville
Findings from the third set of training sessions:-
Attendance at session 5a: 91% (20 out of 22)
Attendance at session 5b: 82% (18 out of 22)
The attendance at these sessions was very good. There has been a big improvement in attendance since the last set of training sessions and the overall attendance statistics remains very good.
92% of teachers found the content of the training very to highly beneficial, while one teacher rated the training average.
92% of the teachers expressed high levels of interest in the BCP, while one teachers expressed an average interest.
