We are excited to introduce Gill Brand, a dedicated educator with more than 30 years of service in the Western Cape Education Department.

Gill has been involved with the Basic Concepts Programme since its inception and now serves as a Learning Support Teacher and BCs trainer at the RedRiver Primary in Manenberg, Cape Town.

Her work focuses on equipping teachers to be effective in their practice and on ensuring all learners can achieve success.

Gill emphasizes the importance of building meaningful connections with children by helping them develop thinking skills that will impact their choices and how they navigate the world around them.
