The initiation of the Bridges of Learning Project in Cape Town marks a unique collaboration between three public schools in District Six and three private schools. Despite the perceived distance between these contexts, the first training session revealed a profound truth: the cognitive and pedagogical challenges of Grade R are universal.
Our focus:
- Developing language and thinking skills.
- Fostering internal peer support systems.
- Equipping educators with a common language for intervention.
By creating a space for shared reflection and professional growth, we ensure that teachers are empowered rather than isolated.
