Study-Backed Impact: School Readiness Doubled

An independent 2022 evaluation by ALACRITY Development shows that learners participating in the Basic Concepts Programme are more than twice as likely to be school-ready after just one year:

 66% (BCP group)
31% (Control group)

This meaningful increase in preparedness highlights the programme's power to equip young learners for Grade 1 and beyond. And importantly, it’s scalable.

In projects where 62% of learners were previously unprepared, BCP could flip the script — preparing nearly two-thirds for school success.
