Etafeni: 2nd Term Mentoring Visits Start (2013)

Mentors visited the youngest group (2-3 years) at Etafeni on 11 April 2013. 

It was pleasing to see how quickly these teachers had begun to apply the programme.  This was evident in the physical classroom settings - the many wall-posters and childrens' work - but also in the quality of the language interactions in these classes. The focus on developing the childrens' language has become the mantra at Etafeni.

Thandi Banjwa the new project fieldworker again made a significant impact during this visit to the Centre. It was wonderful to see how positively the teachers have responded to her mentoring.
