Namaqua District: Project Context
Part of the Project
The project is located in the strikingly beautiful and far-flung areas of the Namaqua District, Northern Cape. Spectacular beauty abounds, particularly during the flower season. The region is named after the Nama, and translated means “land of the people of the tongue". The project schools are located in remote farming and mining towns and villages which are often great distances apart.
