Etafeni Day Care Centre: Start of visits, 2014

Summary of visits to Etafeni: Term 1
BCunlimited have had three visits to the centre since the start of the year:- 4, 12 and 27 March 2014.
The overall focus of these visits was to assist the staff with planning as well as the evaluation of teaching and learning at the cetnre.
A very sucessful planning workshop on how to use the weekly planning and evaluation sheets was held. See documents below for copies of these sheets. The staff has also been assisted to organize their curriculum into quarterly and weekly CAPS aligned themes.
A follow up visit has found that although there has been progress in numerous areas, some of the teachers still require relatively high levels of support.
